The Park Beach Plaza developments works are advancing quickly and this month we give you a quick update on our exciting progress.
The new main entrance to Target opened today making it much easier to find your way into and around the store. The new entrance gives you a better understanding of the new standard of shopping experience you can expect in the “state of the art” Target store with its new fixtures, fittings and high quality finishes.Target will continue to trade as the final stages of work in sections of the store continue. Shoppers enjoy a wider range of stock which is arriving daily as each new section opens. I heard a lady say the other day “I love coming in each week to see what they have done – very exciting!”
The new toilets located near Target are now open! These amenities have been fully upgraded and now provide the new high level of customer comfort we believe you expect from Park Beach Plaza.The amenities were designed with the environment in mind similar to the newer amenities found near Woolworths and the Food Court. They include the latest environmental technology with stylish sensor activated tap wear; half flush dual efficiency systems, energy efficient LED lights combined with low energy florescent lighting that has also less strobe effect causing less issues for migraine suffers. Dyson hand dryers which use up to 80% less electricity than conventional hand dryers as they have no heating element. This combined with a high output of air means customers are able to dry their hands in around 10 seconds saving time as well.This all combines to provide environmentally friendly amenities with door less entries and touch free sensor taps giving a high standard of hygiene and giving you our customers the highest quality amenities on the Coffs Coast.

The scaffolding has been going up around the first level of the new multi deck car park over the last few weeks in preparation for the concrete pour which is scheduled to occur next week. This concrete pour will be the largest elevated concrete pour in one day ever undertaken in Coffs Harbour with over 1000 cubic metres of concrete to be laid over a 12 hour period.This huge first milestone in the construction program will see over 160 trucks deliver 6 cubic metres of concrete each. The concrete plant will be working to capacity to supply the concrete as the trucks make round trips. To facilitate this there will be 25 concreter’s on site, form workers, electricians, pump operators and builders managing this major logistical exercise.
